The Sluggers ended their 29th season and the 19th year of playing parks & recreation, ASA slow-pitch softball in Petaluma, California. The 2004 season would be the last year of Sluggers Softball. Say it ain't so coach!
It started back in the Novato Softball League in 1978 and 1979. Then we jumped to the Hamilton Softball League in 1981, 82' and 1983. Came back to the Novato league in the 90's, (1991-1999). The Sluggers ended a disappointing 2004 season with a 10 & 7 record and no championships! 2004 would be the last year of Sluggers Softball on the diamonds, while playing in the Petaluma 40 & Over Softball League.
