Sluggers throw another shutout in a 19-0 blow out vs Lunatic Fringe in 1992. Billy (The Kid) Cline had 7 rbi in this game with the help of a home run with the bases loaded and also had 4 hits. Ron had 4 hits and 4 runs scored, his brother Tom scored 4 runs. Game over in 5 innings again.

Sluggers 21-6 vs Allstars2. Big Bad Bob playing LC led the way with 4 hits and 4 rbi. Timmy scores 4 runs and Bob L. playing shortstop had a 5 rbi game. The Sluggers score 9 runs in the 3rd inning to put the game away.

Sluggers 20-4 vs Prime Time. Rickie's game in 97. Batting in the #2 spot in place of the coach, scores 4 runs and had 4 rbi (2 run triple) Ed Schwab drives in 4 runs and Scotty, the Sluggers #1 pitcher in the 90', bangs out 3 hits, had 3 rbi and scored 3 runs.

Sluggers 24-4 route of Travel Escapdes in the 2000 40 & over league. WE still got it! Sluggers score 14 runs in the first and never looked back, everyone scored!

Sluggers 20-7 win over Twin Oaks in the 2000 40 & over league. Brother's Bob and John does some damage in this game by going 8 for 8 between them. 6 runs scored and 7 rbi, with brother John hitting a 2 run HR.

Sluggers sets team record for most runs scored in one game in a 30-12 blow out vs Computers America. This game was in the 40 & over league. Sluggers led 14-12 going into the bottom of the 5th inning then scored 16 runs and had runners on base, but time had run out to end the game. Coach Dave had a 5 for 5 game and Gerry went 4 for 4 to lead the way. Sluggers pound out 34 hits, another team record.

Sluggers shut the trap on the Rally Rats 25-0 in the 2002 season. The team bats around in the second inning by scoring 13 runs. We score in every inning but the 6th. Bill's 4 for 4 leads the way. Again everyone scores a run. It's 40 & over softball.

2003 season. Sluggers shut the door on Door Tech 19-0. George (flash) Shawver had 4 hits, 5 rbi and a 2 run blast. John (the mouth) Williams hit a 3 run shot. Bill Cline went 4 for 4. The defense turns 3 DP's in the shutout.

Sluggers lost 12-6 vs The Slovats, (a team the Sluggers beat big-time twice) Sluggers give up 5 runs in the first inning, gave them a 8-0 lead after only 3 innings. All the Sluggers could score was 5 runs in the 7th, or this game was headed to the Ugly side.

Sluggers lost 14-6 vs The Gold Rush in the playoffs. Again giving up 5 runs in the first inning! A game the Sluggers could have won, but we could not get the big hit or make the big play on defense.

1998 a game vs the Bandits. Sluggers score 7 runs in the 2nd inning and the Bandits came back with 5 runs in the 3rd, 1 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th to tie it up 7-7. They scored 1 run in the 7th to win 8-7. We got shut down for the last 5 innings and they just chiped way. One run a time.

The year 1999. We played BAD all season! The Sluggers lost this game 5-1 while getting only 6 hits. Then more bad came, we lost our next game 5-1 and the next game 4-3. We couldn't hit when the team needed it, trying to hard maybe so, but we did play good defense. It was a strange year, the wrong mix of players, or just getting old. Time to rebuild!

Sluggers get shut out for the first time 7-0 vs C.R. in the 1997 season. What makes this UGLY, we just shut them out 10-0 in the first game of a double header. I guess this was a pay back game.

In the spring of 1999 we thought we put together a good team, but Maya beat us ugly! 13-1 OUCH.. Our last year playing in the Novato league. The mistake was WE were not a TEAM and for some reason didn't play as a TEAM. It showed on the playing field.

Here is one from 1997. Sluggers score 11 runs in the first inning BUT. The Beer Hunters had a big inning and score 9 runs, then came back to win 18-16. What a game and it was ugly, but we all had a good time. One of the fun teams to play, plus their getting old just like us.

Twin Oaks 20-5 win over the Sluggers in the 2000 40 & over league. Twin Oaks had a 12 run first inning, these boys can hit, this game was over early. Who are these guys?

Door Tech beats up on the Sluggers 14-4 in the 2001 40 & over league. 13 batters come to bat and we can only get one hit. Six errors at least, bad throws and we kept the door open all day for Door Tech. We stunk it up big time. We can still do this too.
